Muse

Muse is an alternative rock band comprised of vocalist/guitarist Matt Bellamy, bassist Chris Wolstenholme, and drummer Dom Howard. “Uprising”, the first single from Muses’s fifth studio album The Resistance, earned the band their highest-ever debut on the Billboard album chart when it bowed at No. 3. Their previous album, 2006’s gold Black Holes and Revelations, peaked at No. 9 on the chart. The Resistance, produced by Muse and mixed by famed audio engineer Mark ‘Spike’ Stent, also notched 20 No. 1 debuts around the world, including Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, and the U.K. Muse has won several awards and has been nominated for a 2010 People’s Choice Award.
