Geena Davis leads the cast playing America’s first female president – Mackenzie Allen. A short time after the election, the former vice president takes office when her conservative predecessor undergoes critical surgery. Some aren’t convinced that Allen is the right person for the job especially conniving Speaker or the House, Nathan Templeton, who tries to undercut her at every turn. As if taking charge of a grieving nation isn’t enough, Allen is also faced with caring for her own family.
